It's been rainy this weekend and a little drab weather wise if you ask me. The kind of days where you just want to bum around and watch movies or nap. Ya know, the ones where it is hard to get motivated. Although, I wish I could say all I did this weekend was bum around, watch movies and take naps, but I didn't do any of those.
Also, I know I have a lot of friends that pray, so if you are reading this I would greatly appreciate if you could please join in a prayer chain for a 22 year old who recently found out he needs a liver transplant asap; his liver is in full failure. He is a family member of a dear friend of mine. Please join us in prayer that God will supply a liver for this young man in time. I always hate that, because I know when someone receives such a wonderful gift that means that someone else lost a life. Although I also see the beauty in it as well. I truly believe in organ donation for such reasons.
Well, another Magical Monday over at Paper Cupcakes seems small matter in the big skeme of things after such news. This week over at the Paper Cupcake's Challenge Blog the challenge is brought to us by Audrey E. The challene was to use Die and/or Punches and to use at least 3. You could mix them as well, if you liked. I actually used 3 Spellbinders behind the teddy bear and then the larger flowers are a cuttlebug die cut and the leaves are a sizzix. The tiny white flowers are a punch. I colored the bear with colored pencils. This was a quick easy card, once I figured out what I was going to do.
Well, make it a great week and please hold Patrick in prayer, they gave him 2 weeks if he doesn't get a matching donated liver. I pray that he gets one and I hope you will pray too. Take time to count your blessings.
